Our Services

In Home Care

In-home care from a professional agency is appropriate whenever a person prefers to stay at home. More people elect to live independently and need ongoing care that cannot easily or effectively be provided by family and friends.

In-home care means non-medical care, personal care, or household chores.  These services may include help in the home with the tasks of daily living such as meal preparation, medication reminders, laundry, light housekeeping, errands, shopping, and companionship.  Services may also include bathing, dressing, transferring, using the toilet, eating, and walking, which reflect an individual's capacity for self-care.
Types of Care

Consumer Directed Services

Consumer Directed Services mean that participants,  have decision-making authority over certain services and take direct responsibility to manage their services with the assistance of a system of available supports. The self-directed service delivery model is an alternative to traditionally delivered and managed services, such as an agency delivery model. Self-direction of services allows participants to have the responsibility for managing all aspects of service delivery.

Self-direction promotes personal choice and control over the delivery of waiver and state plan services, including who provides the services and how services are provided. For example, participants are afforded the decision-making authority to recruit, hire, train and supervise the individuals who furnish their services.

Respite Care are maintenance and supervisory services provided to a client in the indivdual's residence to provide temporary relief of the usual caregiver.

Advanced Respite consists of maintenance and supervisory care provided to clients who have specialized needs.  The service is provided in the client's home and is to relieve the usual caregiver.

Nurse Visits are skilled nursing services of a maintenance or preventative nature, provided to clients with a stable-chronic condition.  They are provided at the client's residence and must be pre-authorized.  Services are not intended as treatment for an acute health condition.

Basic Personal Care are maintenance services provided to a client in their home to assist with activities of daily living.

Advanced Personal Care are maintenance services provided to a client in the individual's residence to assist with activities of daily living when assistance requires devices and procedures related to altered body function.

Homemaker Chores are general household activities provided by trained homemakers when the client is unable to manage the care of the home for themselves.
