Our company was formed in 2015 by local residents who have a vision of helping those in the community who prefer to stay at home with assistance. We were granted a contract with the State of Missouri in May of 2016 and with the Veteran's Administration in October of 2016.

We stay active in the community, hosting bingos, birthday parties, potluck dinners, and helping with local fundraisers. We do our best to show our Southern Hospitality and want our clients and our employees to know that they come first.

In August of 2017, we moved to our current location: 120 N Broadway, Poplar Bluff, MO. This is in the heart of downtown, across from the iconic Rodger's Theatre. It also has been known for the corner where the mannequin stood. To keep up with tradition, we have our own mannequin to represent our Southern hospitable business. Her name is Scarlett.

An administrative office and a training center for our Homemakers were opened in 2018. It is located at 112 N Broadway in Poplar Bluff.

In January of 2019, we expanded and opened an office at 319 E Broadway in Hayti. We opened an office on the Square on the corner of 4th and E. Broadway. (In the fall of 2020, we relocated the Southern Regional office to 104 E Grand in Campbell.)

2020 saw the addition of an expansion into the Ozarks of Missouri when we opened an office at 1215 Missouri Ave in West Plains, along with an office located at 104 Grand Ave in Campbell.

During the summer of 2021, Southern Care & Comfort had the opportunity to acquire an existing in-home agency in Marble Hill and added that location which is at 606 C Hwy 34 W.

These additions allow Southern Care & Comfort In Home Agency to serve clients throughout 30 Missouri counties across Southeast & South Central Missouri.

Veterans, Private Pay, and Private Insurance Services are eligible regardless of state residency.
